Crazy Dingo Brewing Co.

Crazy Dingo Brewing Company was founded by us, Stu Paasche and Dan Esperon. We both started as home-brewers, brewing small batches of craft beer in our garages which we then shared among friends and family. Although we were friends for years prior, we first teamed up as brewers while brewing beer for a mutual friend's Beer & BBQ tasting event in 2014. In brewing together we found we share the same passion for local history, culture and flavor which was evident in both of our unique styles of brewing beer. After our first few home-brewed ales were met with high regards by friends and family, we decided to continue on brewing together with the dream on one day opening a small craft-beer brewery. Inspired by one of Stu's nutty (yet loving) Australian shepherds, Abby, we collectively became known as "Crazy Dingo Brewing Company" (CDB). Over time we learned from many mistakes, dumped out plenty of failed batches and slowly began to perfect our craft. As we began to accumulate awards and accolades for our beers in local, and some not-so-local, brewing contests and tasting events, we started to gain a loyal following among the local craft beer scene in SWFL who only continued to encourage us to take CDB to the next level.

One day, after tending to a garden space and talking with Bo McMahon at Southern Fresh Farms in Fort Myers, we learned that our dream of opening a craft brewery was unexpectedly shared. Bo and his parents, Robert and Shelly, were looking to taking their small family farm to the next level, and the dream of combining the world of "Agritourism" and craft beer was their vision. We all soon became good friends, and spent many afternoons together on the farm dreaming of ways we could work together. After experimenting with growing hops on the farm, and discovering that they could in fact thrive in the heat and humidity of south Florida, it became evident that CDB and SFF were meant to partner together. The Farm could provide the family-friendly, laid back old Florida venue along with loads of fresh produce (including hops!) and Crazy Dingo would brew the delicious beers.
